The conversation usually begins with, “I’m no theologian, but…”  Well, if you’ve ever thought or spoken of God, then you’re a theologian.  Simply put, theologians are those who speak about God.  They can be professors or pastors, farmers or fishermen, drug dealers or prostitutes.  Some are very educated and some are not, but each, when they speak the name of God is a theologian.  So the real question is not, “Are you a theologian?”  The real question is, “What kind of theologian you are?”
